Heads up

this blog assembles thoughts on the things most important to me: healing and free love, science and truth poltiics, communities and our collective struggles. i am a medical anthropologist and doctor-in-training looking to make sense of a world of profound health disparities through the prism of southern struggles for race, class, and gender justice. i am also a queer-identified arab woman of color. particular interests include childhood obesity/diabetes as a postcolonial ailment; borders, blood lines, and queer body-politics; physical and poverty traumas of  the global & american south.
